Scheduled data tape rotation and proper offsite storage is a requirement for any business continuity plan. On a daily basis they must be handled correctly, removed from your premises, securely stored, and then returned on request.

At DataSafe we will ensure that your tapes will always be where you want them. DataSafe offers cost-effective services to make rotations easier for you - whether you store one backup tape or 10,000 daily backup tapes.

DataSafe Storage can deliver your back up data within 1 hour (locally, within office hours) to ensure that downtime is kept to an absolute minimum. This service is available 24 hours per day, 365 days a year.

Our offsite facilities assure protection of your back-ups from a localized event. As with our hard copy storage service, all data movements are logged and tracked and your data is kept confidential at all times.

DataSafe Storage provides secure offsite magnetic media storage to all commercial computer users in secure and environmentally controlled facilities.

Our purpose built media vaults are approved to MOD and CSA standards with controlled temperature at 20C (+/- 5C) and humidity at 46% (+/- 5%). In addition, the vaults are fire rated to over 4 hours, static free and protected within a sophisticated fire detection system.
